*Queen YoNasda, granddaughter of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, has teamed with rapper NYOIL and a number of organizations to create Hip Hop 4 Haiti, a nationwide fundraising event that will take place Jan. 30 in 10 major cities across the United States, reports Allhiphop.com. In New York, the event will be hosted by NYOIL at the National Black Theater in Harlem New York, from 5-11 p.m. All proceeds and relief collected from the event will go to its nationally recognized Haiti Relief Fund. The official list of performers and cities involved will be unveiled on Wednesday, Jan. 27 and will include rappers, poets, dancers, singers and educators. *Leonardo DiCaprio has donated $1 million to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund to help with the Haiti earthquake relief. Other $1 million donors include: Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and George Clooney. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has donated $1.5 million to Haitian earthquake relief, and Madonna has said she’s donated $250,000.

*Simon Cowell has recruited British “X-Factor” winner Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart and Michael Buble for a cover of R.E.M.’s 1993 ballad “Everybody Hurts.” Proceeds will benefit the relief efforts in Haiti following a deadly 7.0 earthquake. The Sun newspaper, which is helping Cowell organize the charity single, said that Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Take That and Paul McCartney also have been approached R.E.M. had agreed to waive royalties and the British government says the record will be exempt from sales tax.

Snooki of MTV's Jersey Shore

*Snooki of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” is doing her part for the cause by selling autographs, proceeds of which will go to help earthquake relief in Haiti. She’ll be at the Star Pontiac Buick GMC in Easton, Penn. from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The dealership is also donating “$100 per every car sold on Saturday,” sales manager Eric Watson tells UsMagazine.com.
