*Just like the headline says, this page/board is where you can discuss the stuff that we didn’t cover in today’s issue. (It’s sort of like feedback with a twist) Remember, NO name calling, racial taunting, graphic sex talk and vulgarity in general, PLEASE.

Today’s ‘Live Better With Willie Jolley’ Tip: Live … Until You Die

While speaking to a senior citizens group one day, a lady stopped me and told me that she was depressed because she didn’t feel useful anymore. I asked her if she realized that Colonel Sanders didn’t start Kentucky Fried Chicken until he was 65. And Clara Peller didn’t say “Where’s the beef?” and become a popular TV star until she was in her eighties. George Burns won an Oscar in his nineties and signed a ten-year contract with Caesar’s Palace! Senior citizens are running marathons, opening businesses, scaling mountains, and doing all sorts of amazing things! They realize that they are all getting older, but their attitude is one of I would rather wear out than rust out! Once I shared that with her, she got a new attitude and got excited about her possibilities. I encourage you to get excited about your possibilities no matter how old you are!
