Rashida Jones turns 34 today

Just like the headline says, this page/board is where you can discuss the stuff that we didn’t cover in today’s issue. (It’s sort of like feedback with a twist) Remember, NO name calling, racial taunting, graphic sex talk and vulgarity in general, PLEASE.

Today’s ‘Live Better With Willie Jolley’ Tip: Volunteer Victims

Today’s tip for success is focused on helping you overcome this challenging economy. It is taken from my new book, Turn Setbacks Into Greenbacks. I was watching Donald Trump’s television show, The Apprentice, and one contestant was part of the team that lost, but she did not contribute to the team losing. Yet to be supportive of the team leader, she volunteered to go back into the boardroom with the team leader, even though she was not one of the culprits that caused the loss. When Trump asked why she was back in the boardroom, he was told she volunteered. He immediately fired her! He said, “Never voluntarily get in the line for execution!” Don’t even get close to the area if you do not have to!” It was a tough lesson, but it was true.

Far too many people get in line for execution with tough economies when they need not do so. Do not get in line with all the people who have decided to buy into the gloom and doom of the times. Do not become a volunteer victim!

Visit my website at www.williejolley.com for more information on turning your setbacks into greenbacks, and make this a great day!
