*Like other favorite first name only stars – Cher, Oprah, Diana, Beyonce, Madonna – Omarosa is also an easily recognizable brand having won infamy from her much talked about role on Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice” show where the two first met.
The real estate and entertainment czar Donald J. Trump made it known after having worked with the Nubian beauty that she would go on to be a big star. “She’s smart, sassy and very confident,” he notes. And, whatever Trump likes, Trump promotes.
On Monday, June 14, 2010, The Trumpster hosted a fabulous party for his favorite femme fatale, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, at the First Floor Atrium of the plush Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue to launch a new show, “Donald J. Trump Presents the Ultimate Merger,” starring Omarosa. Sponsored by Lincoln MKS, Verizon and Diageo, the party was as hot as the lady herself!
After a red carpet treatment that stopped traffic on Fifth Avenue, Omarosa entered the party to loud and thunderous applause and was then introduced to VIPs and guests by Trump — surrounded by her bachelors. She kept everything short and sweet as she came to party and was seen cutting a rug on the dance floor filled with men. She’s got game! I can’t remember when I’ve seen so many men at one party. And the female guests took advantage of a good situation as they wined, dined and exchanged numbers.
The billionaire real estate mogul has partnered with TV One on a groundbreaking new reality series that premiered on TV One on Thursday, June 17, 2010. The hot new show, “Donald J. Trump Presents the Ultimate Merger,” stars the sultry beauty and features 12 successful bachelors who vie for her attention.
“I am happy to be working with Donald Trump again on this exciting project,” said Omarosa. “Love is serious business, and I approached this challenge with the same determination with which I do everything in my life, which is why I brought in a team of experts and good friends to help me put these bachelors to the test. And while it has been a much more emotional and dramatic experience than I ever expected, I look forward to making the Ultimate Merger.”
The show, which reunites the 36-year-old Ohio native and the tycoon, is designed to pit the handsome hunks against each other in a series of challenges that are designed to play upon their weaknesses, test their business acumen, measure their seductive strengths and bring out their real intentions to win her hand.
Each week one of the suitors will bite the dust and get eliminated based on the advice Ms. “O” receives from Mr. “T.” Shot in Las Vegas Trump International Hotel and Tower, you can bet your bottom dollar that the show will be as captivating as its subject.
“Omarosa was a great personality on the ‘Apprentice’ that was watched by over 40 million people as it became the #1 show on TV,” beamed Trump. “Omarosa is smart, witty, and difficult, but all of these qualities will make for some very interesting entertainment,” Trump noted.
Trump is also looking forward to working with Comcast Corporation and TV One. “I am very excited to partner with the great Comcast Corporation and TV One. They really stepped up to the plate to do this deal. TV One is making a huge impression on the cable landscape with this tremendous new show.”
“TV One is all about bringing our viewers an entertaining and compelling take on universal aspects of the black experience — and creating successful, loving relationships is serious business. There is no question about it: Omarosa’s Ultimate Merger will be unpredictable, full of drama, and a guilty pleasure to watch,” says TV One senior vice president of original programming Toni Judkins.
“We know people like to watch dating shows and the drama within is always a draw, so we expect this series where successful singles match wits in the game of love to be highly fascinating, and entertaining. We look forward to working with Donald J. Trump, Trump Productions, and Juma Entertainment to bring this new series to our viewers.”
“Reality fans can’t get enough of Omarosa, and this partnership between Trump Productions and Juma Entertainment is going to result in an addictive, engaging show that will entertain and surprise those who have enjoyed her exploits,” said Robert Horowitz, executive producer for Juma Entertainment. “Omarosa is known for her drive to succeed and her take-no-prisoners attitude, and watching her use these qualities in her love life will make for great TV.”
“I don’t know that we’d ever see a Black bachelor or bachelorette on the ABC franchise. This is an opportunity to take it to my community and tell stories from my point of view,” stated sexy Omarosa in a recent interview. “But I’m not passing out roses here. It’s going to be like watching sharksmate.” Viewers tuning in better fasten their seatbelts ‘cause they’re in for a bumpy ride.”
