*It is said of him that he came to Los Angeles with a “headshot and a dream,” but actor Page Kennedy also came with a plan, to be an actor by any means possible. Today you can see him every Wednesday at 11 p.m./10C on Spike TV’s “Blue Mountain State” as college football player Radon Randell, a talented egotistical recruit.
“I had to audition,” Page said when asked how he came by the role. “Three or four auditions. I actually wasn’t so optimistic about this part…(A part) you audition for when you know you’re not right, but you try out. The appearance I didn’t have… the person, the character I could do that.”
It seems he brought out the “essence” of what the character is, so much so that his appearance didn’t matter. Blue Mountain State University is the backdrop of the series that also stars Ed Marinaro as Coach Marty Daniels; Darin Brooks as Alec Moran (quarterback); Samuel L. Jones as Craig Shilo; Alan Rirhson as Thad Castle; Chris Romano as Sammy Cacciatore, and Gabrielle Dennis as Denise Roy.
A graduate of University of Delaware (Theater/Acting) Page Kennedy, soon after arriving in Los Angeles, with his headshot and resume in hand snuck onto the Sony studio lot to audition for CBS’s “The Kennedys” – and he landed the role!
That was in 2001 and today – now nine years later – Kennedy has appeared on television in ‘The Shield,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Weeds,” NYPD Blue,” “Six Feet Under,” and “My Name is Earl.” In film he has appeared most noticeably in S.W.A.T., co-starring with Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Ferrell, Michelle Rodriquez, LL Cool J and Olivier Martinez.
Though he works regularly Page admits that there are times when he is not working and it’s hard.
“Last year was a very tough year for me,” he pointed out. “God bless me with this opportunity.”
When I asked him what he would say to other struggling actors he said, “Wait it out. For me there is no other option.”

God has blessed Joe Pace, II with an abundance of talents and this ultimate Praise & Worship leader is steadily sharing and growing. Through Tyscot Records Joe Pace has just released a new album titled “Joe Pace Presents: Praise for the Sanctuary.”
‘I started this CD to bless listeners…to teach the choirs,” Pace said about the album’s journey to be here. “This was recorded in Dayton, Ohio… God told me to go to cities, put community choirs together with churches (in the area).”
Joe went to 30 different churches and let the pastors pick out the best in the choirs. By the time he was ready to record he had 85 of the best choir singers in the country. The new project comes with a DVD of the live recording. “Joe Pace Presents: Praise for the Sanctuary” features vocalist such as Isaac Carree, Norman “Jimmy” McDuffie, Crystal Aikin, Tonya Baker, Koerry Mitchell, and or course Joe.
Pace is a songwriter, producer, artist, director and author. As a songwriter he has written songs that have been sung by Fred Hammond, Tina Campbell, Rance Allen, LaShun Pace, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and Clint Brown.
This is the 18th CD project for the Grammy, 8-time Dove and 7-time Stellar Award nominee.
“It represents the Kingdom,” Joe Pace said simply. “It’s about Him.
This is such a great Praise & Worship project that I let it play from beginning to end, didn’t seem to put any on repeat so I have no doubt those who want to be lifted in spirit will enjoy some of the selections. Selections on the album include “Forever,” “Fill This Place,” “Just Like He Said He Would,” “Wise Men Still Seek Him,” and the emotional “’Til We Gather Again.”
