*Halle Berry has confirmed that she’ll star in the Wachowskis’ next movie “Cloud Atlas.”

The actress, who was linked to the adaptation of David Mitchell’s novel earlier this year, also confirmed Tom Hanks and Natalie Portman’s involvement at a Q&A for her latest film “Frankie & Alice.”

“I’m going to do a movie probably in the summer with the Wachowskis. It’s not brothers anymore, but the Wachowskis,” she said. “[It’s] a really interesting movie. Sort of like what they did with The Matrix, they have another really amazing idea that’s going to stretch our brains even further. So I’m really excited about that and that’s probably gonna be in the summer with Tom Hanks and Natalie Portman.”

“Cloud Atlas” is made up of six loosely connected narratives spanning thousands of years. “Run Lola Run’s” Tom Tykwer had reportedly been lined up to direct, while Andy and Lana Wachowski will serve as producers.
