*Rapper Jay-Z may be riding a high with all his business ventures and the birth of his baby girl, but one part of his portfolio is floundering, according to the Huffington Post.*
Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, launched Rocawear in 1995 to much success but the brand has floundered in recent years with a sales dip of $500 million and layoffs of 56 employees in its New York offices.
But the rapper, who once said he “will not lose,” is not giving up the brand.
He is shooting a commercial titled “From Marcy to Madison Square” to help re-ignite some hope in the brand.
