Some think he might be gay, being that he’s never really been open about having a significant other, let alone almost never being caught with someone of the opposite sex. But that’s neither here nor there.
The writer, producer, and actor tells Sister 2 Sister in the March issue that he will be married with kids one day. But before the public has the chance to find out about it, it’ll be old news.
“Listen, I’m very much in love. I’m very much in love. And she loves me,” Tyler shared without identifying his lady by name or stating how serious the relationship is. He keeps the details of his personal life private to keep some aspect of his world from the public eye.
“I don’t talk about it. We don’t talk about it. And it’s just that if I give that up, I don’t have anything else.”
Maybe that’s it, he just wants to remain human on some level and have a private life, if that’s even possible as a celebrity.
But he tells the magazine that one day, before anyone has time to suspect it, he’s going to pop up with a family.
He also points to his horrifying past, saying that his childhood has disallowed him to be as open as most want him to be. The Oprah Show, he says was a big transformative moment for him.
“About four or five months ago, I ran into an ex of mine. We were crazy in love. It was crazy, crazy love between the two of us. It was insane,” Tyler said. “We had a conversation after the ‘Oprah’ thing and everything. And it was healing for both of us because I know that, had I not done the show, she and I probably would have never spoken again.”
