Star was offered an opportunity to appear on the news anchor’s “Anderson Live” show to respond to the recent comments she made about her peer’s gay announcement as a ratings ploy. But she didn’t want to do that.
Then Anderson was to appear on the “Today show” to hash it out with the former “The View” host.
“I’ve got nothing more to say, nor do I want to be in a room with her. I’m done,” Cooper said on his show Wednesday. Supposedly the “Today Show” folks attempted to coax him to do the show, but he noticed the harebrained scheme.
“Don’t get me in a war with Star Jones now. I said my piece on Star Jones, I am not one to have a feud,” he said. “She tweeted back something. I said my piece and then she tweeted me and I’m not responding. Actually the Today Show tried to book me to go on with Star Jones so we could tussle.”
Maybe one day we’ll see them in action.
