So naturally someone wanted to know if she and hubby Nick Cannon plan to have more kids. The diva half jokingly replied:
“If Nick [Cannon] could have the babies himself, then yeah, bring ’em on. We love kids,” said Carey. “Here’s the thing, this is real. I’m responsible for the kids until like forever. I look at it like they didn’t ask for this lifestyle, but here they are.”
Then she got a little more serious. She said that pregnancy, especially when carrying twins, is a big deal to her. She shared info about her battle with preeclampsia and gestational diabetes during that time and said she’d rather not go through it again.
“To anyone who has ever carried twins, it’s a totally different experience… you don’t even know who you are,” Carey said. “I had a very difficult pregnancy, but I was alone most of the time. We love Nick, but he’s working. He’s the hardest working man in show business.”
Mariah and Nick celebrated their fifth anniversary in April with little ones, Monroe and Morrocan, 2, in an extravagant Disneyland ceremony. As we reported yesterday, the family is currently on Christmas vacation in Aspen.
