*Kanye West was supposed to have wrapped up his North American Yeezus tour at the end of December 2013, taking the stage for a nearly 30-minute address in which he, among other things, promised to stop saying negative things in 2014.
Today, Ye has revealed a handful of new dates across the East Coast, beginning Feb. 2 and wrapping for the time being on February 23 in New York, reports MTV.com. European dates are likely expected soon.
Although West promised in December to nix the negative rants while in the public eye, these new tour dates hint that he might be up to his old tricks come February — each show does usually include a lengthy riff on whatever it is that’s on Kanye’s mind.
“So I’m letting you all know that this is the last Yeezus show,” Kanye told the audience back in December, “and this is the last time you’ll ever hear me say [anything] negative about anyone.”
