*On Saturday, Jay Z hosted a pre-Grammy brunch at a palatial mansion in Beverly Hills.
Late arrivers were left on the outside looking in at the private party where the icon’s annual Roc Nation brunch was held.
Most of the guests were bused to the secret location. But the fête proved to be so popular, authorities denied entry because of overcrowding concerns.

Jay Z, dressed in a suit and smoking a cigar, hugged his protégés Rihanna and Rita Ora and mingled with guests inside the stunning estate, which included fountains, a majestic pool, mouthwatering spread, free flowing drinks and a cigar station.

Cole, Kevin Hart, Ne-Yo, T.I., Ellen Pompeo, Kelly Rowland, Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, Grimes, Sasha and Theo Spielberg, Chris Ivery, Adrienne Bailon, Meek Mill, Wale, Julian Morris, Diane Warren, Sylvia Rhone (President, Epic Records) and more.
