T.I. and Doe B*T.I. was among those who turned out Saturday for the funeral of Grand Hustle rapper Doe B.

HipHollywood.com reports the Atlanta rap star shared memories of Doe B while addressing the late entertainer’s family and friends, who also revealed what they remembered most about the 22-year-old.

“I’m up here to celebrate the life of a young man … I want everybody to know that one thing I will never do, I will never let this young man’s hard work go to waste,” T.I said about Doe B, who he signed to his Atlanta-based Grand Hustle record label a little more than a year ago.

“I will never let his life be lived in vain. All of my resources, all of my relationships, all of my efforts, all of my energy will be put forth to make sure his dream lives on,” T.I said.

Doe B’s funeral comes just days after he was shot while visiting the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill in his home town of Montgomery, Ala. on December 28. The rapper, born Glenn Thomas, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
