These are either the best of, my favorite, or the most read columns of mine from the past year. You can try to figure out which but it’s probably not worth it.

These first two articles fit well together because often times the folks who argue for gun ownership also believe women should not be in the military. I find that curious. and

Every once in a while I dip my toe into the sports world. Here are two columns about the most important social development in the past year and an ongoing issue. and

I’m still not sure I know which is the most important amendment in the Bill of Rights. Maybe that’s why they all got passed simultaneously.

This column gives my views on a story from my region of the country that has it all: race, gender, sex, alcohol, youth, and some would say violence.

And lastly my sincere hopes for a balanced dialog between liberals and conservatives and the guy who is most likely able to help produce that dialog.
