*Undiplomatic as she was at first, Nigeria‘s Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, was being interviewed by the ABC news channel.
She was tired of being asked about the kidnapped girls by BOKO HARAM, but was tired of so many interviews about same topic. She admitted that another minister was in a better position to spill more light on the Nigerian government’s stance on the issue. She eventually said so much in a couple of minutes that it did not sound as if nothing is being done. She also said a lot more than we know.
The more the Nigerian government officials are coerced into speaking so often through radio or television interviews, the more information the terrorists will have and make other plans.
What happens if attempts by the Nigerian forces to rescue the girls turns very bloody? Their safety, though traumatised already by the ordeal, is paramount and hope this cartoon speak volumes.
