The celebrity stylist and her glam squad are back in the salon for season three of “L.A. Hair” on WEtv.
“We are doing big things this season!” Exclaimed the queen of hair. “I remodeled the salon and we’re expanding the business. There is drama with my sister Leah, we fired a stylist, and we hired a stylist. She is a female barber so we have some eye candy for the girls.”
“She is fearless! I can do different hairstyles and be creative. She’s a chameleon, she looks good in anything you put on her.”
Lisa Buford is the new stylist at the luxurious West Hollywood salon. Her celebrity roster includes Akon, Cedric The Entertainer, and Ray J.
“I gave them some hazing!” Explained the self-taught barber. “I brought it. I had a couple of altercations! Who didn’t I get into it with, is the better question.”
Couture nail artist, Naja Rickette, fingers’ were in a splint from all of the hair pulling.
“This season needs a referee!” Stated the queen of nails. “There is lots of drama and lots of scrapping!”
Angela Stevens, is also back and threatening to open her own high end salon. The former protégée turned hairemy shared the most important thing about creating a ‘look.’
“People need to find hairstyles that work for them. Everything doesn’t work for everybody.”
Hair majesty said the must have summer hairstyle is under-lights.
“Highlights under the hair, not on top,” clarified Kimble. “Color is still in. During summertime it’s all about the natural, wavy, curly hair extensions.”
Top stylist, Dontay Savoy, agreed and loves a messy duo.
“People are embarrassing their natural textured hair.”
“L.A. Hair” airs on WEtv Thursdays at 9PM ET/PT.
