He said she found out about a special Visa that would allow her to stay in the United States if she’s a victim and is needed in the prosecution of the perpetrator.
But she claimed he beat her on multiple occasions. Sources close to her said he had a history of physically abusing her.

Nam admitted she waited 7 months after he strangled her to file a police report because she was afraid of him.

But he was later released on $20,000 bail and then, called her out for the accusations.
“Dream voluntarily surrendered to the Midtown North Precinct this morning in order to responsibly address the false allegations filed against him by Lydia Nam. He is innocent of the charges filed against him today, and we are confident that when this case is concluded and all the evidence has been reviewed, it will be clear that he is innocent,” a statement read.
