*Aakomon (“AJ”) Jones, one of today’s hottest choreographers and creative directors for film, TV, commercials and live tours, moonwalks to the set of “The Juice” today to show the hosts how he taught actor Chadwick Boseman (who played Jackie Robinson in “42”) James Brown’s best “funk” dance moves for the new movie “Get On Up.” Boseman plays James Brown in the highly anticipated new biopic, which hits theaters August 1st.
AJ has worked on the films “Pitch Perfect,” “Dreamgirls” and “Center Stage: Turn It Up” in addition to choreographing Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” tour. He is also Usher’s go-to choreographer, having been the creative director for Usher’s “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love,” “OMG” and “Lil’ Freak” music videos.
