*Adrienne Bailon is firing back against the Kardashian clan who took issue (via Twitter) with comments she made in Latina magazine about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian.
As previously reported, the 30-year-old co-host of “The Real” said in the magazine’s September issue that she lamented being “stuck” with the Kardashian label by dating Rob, and that it was “hurtful” to her career.
Kim clapped back with the tweet, “Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is (because) she is talking about a Kardashian,” and “So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever.”
Khloe also responded on Twitter to a fan that weighed in on Bailon’s remarks.
“Thought her and I were cool SMH,” the 30-year-old reality starlet wrote followed by tweeting “FDB.”
Rob retweeted Khloe’s three letter diss, (which stands for “f–k dat b—h”) to his 5 million followers.
Bailon had seen enough. She took to Instagram late Thursday to address the situation.
“Fame and career are two different things. I’ve always had a career. I have been working hard since I was 15 years old. Being someone’s ‘girlfriend’ was never what I wanted to be famous for,” she wrote.
“What makes you ‘famous’ isn’t always what you want to be ‘labeled’ as, or known for. If anyone should understand that…It should be you,” she continued.
Bailon, who dated the sock designer from 2007 to 2009, continued in the lengthy post that she told Latina “that none of this would have stopped me from being in love and being in that relationship.
“I just would have gone about it differently. You can love someone just as much. We all learn from our first loves.”
