*Ludacris and his daughter caught a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta Monday morning, but things went awry when it was time for his daughter to catch a solo flight to New York, where her mother was waiting to pick her up.

According to TMZ, 13-year-old Karma’s connecting flight through Delta had a four-hour layover. Ludacris left her in the first class lounge.

The problem, Luda’s daughter is not allowed to fly without an adult, because she’s under 15. Delta would not let her on the plane.

According to TMZ, Delta called Ludacris and informed him the airline would provide adult supervision if he paid a $100 fee, but the rapper refused. So he came back to the airport, picked up his daughter and they went home.

A rep for Ludacris tells TMZ Luda booked a first class ticket for Karma himself, and was informed there would only be a 1 1/2 hour layover. Luda claims he was told when he bought the ticket the only requirement was that an adult needed to be present in NYC when the plane landed — Karma’s mom.

Luda was shocked and angry when Delta changed the rules, thus the refusal to pay the fee. It’s the principle.
