Davidson filed a lawsuit against Minaj — claiming she sold his designs on her website.
Also, he was upset she ruined his alleged chances at a reality show. Nevertheless, a federal court judge dismissed the case this week.
In the documents, according to theJasmineBRAND.com, Davidson said:
“Prior to working with Minaj, Mr. Davidson worked with numerous renowned entertainers that had global brands including Patti Labelle and Jennifer Hudson.”
“Minaj, on the other hand, was hardly known in the entertainment industry and had no brand value prior to working with Mr. Davidson,” he added.
He sued her for $30 million, but Minaj demanded the case be dismissed. She said he was not known before her and that he couldn’t secure a reality show deal without her attached.
Also, she said he’s upset he lost his biggest client. Nevertheless, Davidson currently styles the recently out-of-prison rapper Remy Ma.
On August 19, Minaj got her request granted. Davidson failed to respond to Minaj’s motion. The case was terminated that same day with Davidson receiving not one dime!
