“A beautiful routine. That was, without question, the best dance of the night!” said resident tough judge Len Goodman, who wasn’t the only one handing out compliments to the duo.
“The Prince of Bel-Air? You’re the King of the night!” Bruno proclaimed.
While he owned the night with a jive dance routine, Ribeiro couldn’t resist leading viewers on with acting like he was going to do the “Carlton” dance he’s best known for on “Fresh Prince.” Ribeiro did start out attempting the “Carlton” but he ended up shaking his head before the cameras cut to his actual routine.
Looking backstage at rehearsal, the pair appeared to be motivated towards fulfilling individual goals on the way to emerging with the mirror ball. For Ribeiro, the main objective was losing weight, while Carson’s main motivation was simply to win.
