*Civil rights activist and political director of the National Action Network L.A chapter, Najee Ali, who was diagnosed last year with stage 3 lymphoma cancer announced that his doctors have informed him that his cancer is now in remission.

“I want to thank God,my family and friends for all the prayers , support, and encouragement. I couldn’t have beaten this cancer by myself. I owe all of you a debt of gratitude I can never repay. I sincerely appreciate NAN’s founder Rev Al Sharpton and our L.A president Rev K.W.Tulloss and all my supporters for rallying behind me to help save my life,” stated Ali.

Needless to say, we’re very happy for our buddy, Najee Ali. Meantime, we have more good news to share.

*A man who bleeds Dallas Cowboys, former player (#88) and NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin “loves” that Michael Sam, the first openly gay player in the NFL has signed with his beloved Cowboys.

“I like Michael Sam, I love that he’s with the Cowboys,” Irvin told TMZ Tuesday night.

“He knows how to get to the quarterback and we’re happy to see that. When you’re trying to get players, and the Cowboys need players, that can get to the quarterback, you sign Michael Sam. And I’m happy with that.”
