*Starz is making the first two episodes of “Survivor’s Remorse” available for viewing ahead of its official October 4 series premiere, hoping the early jump will generate the type of buzz that attracts more viewers.

Fans can get the jump beginning Saturday Sept. 27 via Starz’s satellite and cable carriers in the U.S., and online through websites including Starz.com; the “Survivor’s Remorse” Twitter, YouTube and Facebook pages; Starz on Demand; and the free Starz Play app.

The two episodes will also be available Saturday on Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, Sony Entertainment Network and Xbox Video.

Executive produced by NBA star LeBron James, the six-episode, half-hour scripted series follows basketball phenom Cam Calloway (Jessie T. Usher) who must balance his new fame and money with his former family life after signing a multimillion-dollar contract with a pro team in Atlanta.

Also serving as executive producers are Tom Werner (chairman of the Boston Red Sox), Maverick Carter (LeBron’s longtime business partner), actor Mike O’Malley (“Glee”), Paul Wachter and Victor Levin.
