The junket featured interviews with actors from MTV Shows such as “Awkward,” “Faking It,” “Todrick” and “Scream.” Talent taking interviews included Greer Grammer, Jillian Rose Reed, Katie Stevens and Todrick Hall.
Grammer and Reed shared their favorite VMA moments as they both chose the Miley Cyrus ‘twerk’ performance with Robin Thicke. Grammer also favorited the infamous Brittney Spears and Madonna kiss.
“We keep talking about the Miley moment because it was like an historic event at this point,” said Reed.
EURweb associate Kiki Ayers also reported exclusively from inside the Microsoft Theater where we took a first look at where your favorite celebrities would be seated. The front row included Nick Jonas, Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Kylie Jenner. One of Hollywood’s favorite couples John Legend and Chrissy Teigen will be seated right behind Kanye and Kim.
Stevens who plays a lesbian that turns out to not REALLY be lesbian on the hit show “Faking It“ (because she’s faking it) revealed that she has kissed a girl in real life. Her and Hall share more in common than just both being on MTV. The 2 also both participated in Fox’s “9th Season of American Idol. They both explained that they’ve been really good friends ever since then.
“We were so close back then and we still are now,” said Stevens. “We were the best of friends. I taught her the ‘Single Ladies’ dance back then and we would do it all the time,” added Hall.
Hall will have his debut on MTV with his own show Todrick, which will air the Monday after the VMA’s on August 31. Season 2 of “Faking It” and Season 5 of “Awkward” will also be returning that Monday.
