*Baltimore, MD  – Gospel music sensation Naomi B is not one to shy away from the spotlight. After all, it is a place where she resided frequently in the months leading up to her latest single, ‘Break Free,’ now available on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby.

The East Baltimore native has been on the fast track this summer, touring and performing at venues all across the Northeast. Her first album, also entitled ‘Break Free,’ is scheduled for release in the fall. With her dream of becoming a nationally recognized singer now on the horizon, she realizes there is no turning back. Naomi B is ready.

“I’m excited to see what the reception will be to my new single, but I can hardly wait to release the full album!” Naomi B said. “I want people all over the country to not only know me as an artist, but to experience my ministry. I want to make an impact, because that’s what I’m here for.”

Back in March, Naomi B’s debut single, ‘Holding On,’ introduced people to her powerful and expansive voice in an emotional ballad. The song was very well received, with many predicting that the songstress is destined for stardom. ‘Break Free’ is a bolder and more up-tempo track, allowing listeners to hear Naomi B’s versatility. It is a relevant song that speaks to the experiences and struggles of people the world over.

“The song is very passionate, energetic, rhythmic and pretty intense. It’s a cry for help,” she said. “We all have things that we feel will hinder us from achieving our goals or prevent us from walking in our God-given destinies. These are the things we want to break free from. Whether it’s negative mindsets, bad relationships, poverty, shame – these are things that at some point we struggle with in our lifetime.”

Moving forward, Naomi B will continue to wow audiences with her musical talent and charisma. She is certain that she is doing precisely what God has called her to do and that belief is constantly reaffirmed by the feedback she garners from fans who have been touched by her work. At a recent performance at the historic Metropolitan A.M.E Church in Washington, D.C., Naomi B was greeted by congregants who were deeply moved by her lyrics. On social media, her followers often send messages expressing how her music helped them through adversity. She prides herself on her ability to connect with all kinds of individuals, regardless of age, race or gender.

“People often say they get chills when they listen to me and my response is… that’s God,” Naomi B said. “I’m just a vessel. What you feel is God all over you. When I see that I can be his mouthpiece and speak something to them that they can actually feel, it’s awesome. I know I am fulfilling my mission.”
