*Teyana Taylor has confirmed that she is indeed five months pregnant, with a girl! The singer’s boyfriend, NBA player Iman Shumpert, made the announcement on Instagram with a snap of an ultrasound that revealed they’re expecting a baby in January. Read his full message below.

“When a man loves a woman how she was born to be loved…procreation is the best blessing you can receive! I couldn’t be more happy than to share my first child with the woman I intended to have my family with,” Shumpert captioned a sonogram pic. “Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr is expected to enter this world ‘1.16.16’. We want that world to be as pure as possible for her. … I love [email protected] thank you for your sacrifice in starting our very own family! P.s. I know you see my daughter with her hand behind her head and her feet kicked up…she’s already daddy’s little girl!!!”

Teyana, who is signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music, released “Cassette Tape 1984,” last month. An EP of five songs with production by Kanye. She’s been touring for the majority of the summer, and as Complex reports, the arrival of their first child will come in the middle of the NBA season.

Taylor lent her vocals on Kanye’s album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.” She has also collaborated with John Legend, R.Kelly and Wale.

The 24-year-old R&B beauty has been dating the Cleveland Cavaliers guard since 2014, and they aren’t shy about flaunting their love on social media. Taylor is also quite supportive of her man. She was often spotted on the sidelines of Cavs games throughout the team’s playoff run this season.

Earlier this year, Iman blasted the hit FOX show “Empire,” believing the character Hakeem, a rapper who dates a babyfaced singer named Tiana, plagiarized him and Teyana’s lives and, worse of all, his flat-top haircut. Iman told Cleveland.com:

“They’re really using a guy with a flat-top like me. Come on. That’s ridiculous. They never called us. We were blindsided. We found out by our family and fans when the show aired.”
