screen gems, sanaa lathan, ealy

Screen Gems has released an all new poster for “The Perfect Guys” and we understand why Sanaa has Ealy going crazy!

*According to Deadline, “The Perfect Guy” is looking to come out on top of this weekend’s box office race. It should bring in a mid-$20M three-day gross after a $9.9M Friday.

The thriller from Sony and Screen Gems, starring Sanaa Lathan, Morris Chestnut and Michael Ealy is looking solid because it heavy presence on social media. Also being heavily marketed during the BET Awards seems to have also helped up the film’s profile.

Also, in spite of mostly bad reviews, “The Perfect Guy” is benefitting from good word-of-mouth. It’s got an A- CinemaScore rating last night. BTW, “Guy,” along with what looks like the second place finisher, “The Visit,” both have PG-13 ratings which the site says broke the long wave of R-rated films that were pushed into the end of the summer this year by the majors.
