*The Miami Dolphins were crushed in a 41-14 beatdown by the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and that was just the beginning of a bad night for cornerback Brent Grimes.
According to the Miami Herald, Grimes’ wife, Miko, was “arrested on charges of battery on a police officer” and “resisting arrest with violence.” She “also faces a charge of disorderly conduct, per Miami-Dade PD, the arresting agency,” Beasley reported.
“Police say Miko Grimes broke through a police barricade and entered [a] restricted area, head-butted an officer & shouted obscenities,” reported WPLG Local 10 News.
Video of the incident shows Grimes, also a sports radio talk show host, being held down by police officers in the parking lot of Sun Life Stadium.
According to police, Grimes ignored an order to stop and became belligerent and screamed profanities. She charged one officer while flailing her arms, and when an officer grabbed her in a bear hug and threw her on the ground, Grimes kicked her feet and tried to get up.
Grimes was handcuffed and, once on her feet, head-butted an officer. She was then forced to sit on a police golf cart, and continued to be combative until the cart reached a police station. Once there, she was treated for her injuries.
