*The Alicia Keys-Jussie Smollett storyline heats up on “Empire” tonight, beginning with a romantic kiss shared between their two characters Skye and Jamal, despite Jamal being gay.
The singer wouldn’t give away any details about that particular plot point. She did, however, dish about her experience working with Smollett and Terrence Howard, with whom she had the most scenes.
“It’s almost like they’re literally father and son at this point. It’s freaky,” said Keys. “I’m like you guys are really related now. And they love it. They’re always talking about crazy interesting deep topics in between stuff. So, you can tell that it’s a family here. And you can tell that they really get along well.
