*There’s no doubt that President Barack Obama’s Sunday night speech from the Oval Office upset many of his haters to the core.
But apparently, Stacey Dash and Lt. Col. Ralph Peters just couldn’t fall back enough on their views on Obama and his strategy for defeating ISIS, as Fox News took the contributors to task for the profanity used in their respective criticisms by suspending them for two weeks.
“Earlier today, FOX contributors Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash made comments on different programs that were completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air,” Fox News Senior Executive Vice President of Programming Bill Shine said in a statement on Monday (Dec. 7). “FOX Business Network and FOX News Channel do not condone the use of such language, and have suspended both Peters and Dash for two weeks.”
The suspensions resulted after Dash sounded off on Obama’s speech during an appearance on “Outnumbered,” saying, “I did not feel any better. I didn’t feel any passion from him,” she said. “I felt like he could give a shit — excuse me, like he could care less.”
For Peters, the language was more explicit as he labeled Obama “a total pussy” when discussing the speech with Fox Business host Stuart Varney.
“Mr. President we’re not afraid, we’re angry, we’re pissed off, we’re furious! We want you to react, we want you to do something!” Peters said.
“You’re afraid!” he continued before adding, “This guy is such a total pussy, it’s stunning.”
“I can tell you’re super angry,” Varney responded, “and I asked you what your reaction was, but you can’t use language like that on the program, I’m sorry.”
