*Lamar Odom’s near fatal drug overdose and downfall has made him the top trending search on Google for 2015.

The former NBA star, who was found unresponsive inside a Nevada brothel in October and was rushed to a local hospital to be treated for the apparent overdose, topped newsmakers such as the transition of Caitlyn Jenner and the return of Adele in Google’s annual “year in search” list.

After initial hospital stay in Nevada, Odom was transported to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he is currently recovering after extensive brain damage. According to reports, the 36-year-old estranged husband of Khloe Kardashian is “struggling” and unable to walk without assistance.

Other “trending” names and topics making the Google list include the Charlie Hebdo attacks, which came in at number two, the summer blockbuster “Jurassic World,” (No. 4), the Paris terrorists attacks (No. 5) and former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey (No. 8).
