*Teddy Riley’s daughters Deja Riley, Taja Riley, and Bobbie Riley have create their own girl group titled R I L E Y., and the ladies have teamed up with 2 Chainz for their debut track, “PoundFRANK,” from their forthcoming EP titled “Bermuda,” which is scheduled to drop in 2016.
According to their bio: “R I L E Y” is an American girl group made up of 3 sisters, Deja Riley [First Kin], Taja Riley [Middle Child], and Bobbie Riley [Baby Sis]. Born in New Rochelle, NY + raised in Virginia Beach, VA – they bring the East Coast Vibe of music to LA, where the girls currently reside. Brought up in the Entertainment industry by their father; legendary music producer/pioneer of New Jack Swing, Teddy Riley, they’ve always been surrounded by great music, but officially formed as a girl group in 2010. Recently joining forces with a production team, “The Stereotypes” (2014), they started working on their debut music project.”
R.I.L.E.Y. officially formed as a girl group in 2010, while under the guidance of their legendary music producer father. Through his production work with artists such as Michael Jackson, Guy, Blackstreet, Bobby Brown, Keith Sweat, Doug E. Fresh, Usher and more, Riley is “credited with having a massive impact and seminal influence on the formation of contemporary R&B, hip-hop, soul and pop since the 1980s.”
Fans of “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” know that Teddy’s other daughter, Nia Riley, has made a name for herself thanks to her participation in the series. Viewers have had a front row seat into the rocky relationship between her and rapper Soulja Boy. On the show they reveal that during their 10 year, on/off relationship, she ended up having a child with another guy. But even that wasn’t enough to keep them apart.
