*On Monday, March 14 on “The Real,” actor Sterling K. Brown of “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story tells the hosts how playing Prosecutor Christopher Darden in the FX Original Limited Series convinced him that Darden got a bad rap.

Sterling also explains his several failed attempts at reaching out to Darden on social media.

Sterling K. Brown: I’ll say this. After going through that process, I can see how he’s not necessarily eager to relive that process.

Sterling: [Continued] …And go through that period again. I hope he sees it and enjoys it and recognizes that the rap that he got then as a “sell-out,” “Uncle Tom,” you know, not loyal to his, his black people, is not the rap he deserves. He’s a very, very, very great guy.
