*Three weeks before the scheduled launch of her Unbreakable World Tour in Europe, Janet Jackson has cancelled all shows in the UK and some in Ireland, France and Germany.
The tour has been riddled with cancellations and postponements, including having to push back North American dates from January to August, due to throat surgery.
Jackson, 49, has reportedly been in Europe preparing for her concerts since mid-February, including London and Paris (for Paris Fashion Week). Following her surgery, Jackson wrote in a statement: “I’m recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled.”
But Jackson has since cancelled her shows in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.
She has yet to address the changes on her social media platforms.
Ticketmaster had to send an email to ticketholders, explaining “it is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time.”
