As it turns out, the 6 foot 4 inch tall entertainer reportedly eats seven meals a day. That’s about 5,165 calories a day (nearly double the daily calories an average American man consumes, according to the Huffington Post, which noted that almost all of Johnson’s meals consist of a protein, a carbohydrate and vegetables.
A sample of Johnson’s meals are found below:

12 oz. baked potato
30 grams casein protein
10 egg-white omelet
1 cup veggies (onions, peppers, mushrooms)

Based on this meal plan, FiveThirtyEight.com’s Walt Hickey stated that Johnson eats about 10 pounds of food daily. In addition, Hickey mentioned that the WWE star turned actor consumes about 821 pounds of cod every year,
“The average American man in his forties consumes 2,734 calories daily, according to data from the USDA. Johnson eats roughly 1,000 calories a day in cod alone,” Hickey said.
The amount of food Johnson eats is nothing strange as the Bleacher Report acknowledged that top athletes like Johnson are known to take in plenty of food.
“Whether it be Michael Phelps or The Rock, they need to consume an enormous amount of calories to maintain their body and perform at a high level,” the site reports.
