Antonio Cromartie, wife*Antonio Cromartie’s wife believes his mother’s lack of love and compassion is the reason he has fathered 13 kids with various women. As such, his relationship with his mom has had a tremendous emotional impact on his life.

TMZ Sports reports that Antonio is evicting his mother from the home he bought her in 2007 because she refuses to make the monthly mortgage payments, per the agreement Antonio claims they made.

His wife, Terricka Cromartie, claims there’s a bigger issue at play: Antonio’s mom simply doesn’t like her and she’s taking it out on his family.

“You can dislike me his wife as much as you want but look at what you are doing to your child,” Terricka wrote in a statement posted to social media. “This is why my husband prolly fathered so many kids because the lack of love from you.”

Terricka says Antonio’s mother has the money to pay for the home — but she’d rather stiff the bank and ruin Antonio’s credit in the process.

“Money really is the root of all evil … My Job is to make sure all our children have a future, all 13 of them.”

Cromartie — who is currently a free agent — is credited with the longest play in NFL history, returning a missed Ryan Longwell field goal 109 yards for a touchdown on November 4, 2007. He has also played for the Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets.

He has fathered at least twelve children with eight different women. He married Terricka, who starred on E!’s Candy Girls, on July 2, 2010. She gave birth to a daughter in April 2010, and a son in early 2012.

Cromartie’s representative told TMZ that his client’s mother was making the monthly $700 mortgage payments since 2011 but stopped doing so in June.

LaQuinta Gardner, Antonio’s sister, says mother refuses to pay the mortgage because the house was a gift, and since her son earned millions in his career, he should pay on the house.
