In case you missed the drama, Beyonce’s fans came for Roy’s scalp earlier this year when she was suspected of being the “Becky” that her husband Jay Z allegedly cheated on her with.
The fashion designer appeared to have acknowledged the slight on Instagram, alluding to the fact that she may be the “Becky with the good hair” who caused problems for Bey’s marriage.
Roy and Jigga’s former business partner Dame Dash have two children together. Dash has remained silent on whether or not he thinks Jay smashed his ex during their Roc-A-Fella days, or even after the company’s demise. But he is speaking out about the attacks aimed at his ex and their kids. In an interview with UK-based magazine Grazia, Dash calls out The Carters over the vicious online harassment that his family received.
“Anyone who messes with a child is a coward.” He went on, likening the Beyhive’s activity to criminal abuse. “It was like sexual abuse. The trolls should have been put in jail for that. It was crazy.”
“They [Beyoncé and Jay Z] should have stepped up and said something. Adults can go and harass a kid on behalf of an R & B singer?” he asked.
MSN.com notes that in addition to the “Becky” drama, “Dash and Jay have long-standing bad blood, which Dame hopes to address in his upcoming television series” about the now-defunct Roc-A-Fella Records. Meanwhile, Beyoncé and Jay Z have not yet apologized, or addressed Dash’s comments.
EUR previously reported that for the second year in a row, Diddy comes out on top in Forbes annual list of the highest-paid acts in music. Jay-Z follows behind him — taking in $53.5 million in 2016 despite never having released an album.
