To Be a V or Not to Be a V, Is that a question?

Well, Shakespeare said it best and I think he possibly had visions for just how influential celebrities can make just about anything in 2017. So, what’s the V for? Well the V, is for VEGAN of course.

If you haven’t heard by now either on Sirius, a podcast, or your favorite social media platform literally every A-list celebrity has made a brief and or permanent transition to becoming a VEGAN. The most popular celebrity is none other than the Texas native herself, Queen B as her fans affectionately call her…. B to the E…. to the Yoncé. Beyoncé of course.

For 22 days Beyoncé and Jay-Z with the initial catalyst being Beyoncé’s trainer braved the sometimes-challenging terrain of what “Livin Veganish” means. Is Livin Veganish a Hollywood trend?

So how did “Livin Veganish” go with Beyonce & Jay Z ?  She was so excited about her physical results and added health benefits that she decided to launch a vegan meal delivery service with her vegan trainer.                 Screen Shot 2017-02-21 at 11.16.54 AMJ-Lo decided to go vegan after a suggestion from her trainer as well. The big question is why are so many celebrities like Beyoncé and Jay-Z, JLO, Ellen DeGeneres, Ariana Grande, Carrie Underwood, and Portia de Rossi, Stevie Wonder, Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, John Salley, Lea Michele, Emily Deschanel, Pamela Anderson, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Alicia Silverstone going vegan?

There are countless reasons people decide to go Vegan: Preventing cruelty to animals, Humans consuming milk and it’s by products that were only meant for calves after only two weeks of their life, allergies, auto immune disease prevention, preventing diabetes, natural cancer fighter, following advice from naturopathic doctors, and diets who say let your food be your medicine, the reasons are countless.

Check out why some celebrities decided to go Vegan: Michelle Pfeiffer embraced a vegan life in her 50’s to live a disease-free life. Jenna Dewan-Tatum began a vegan lifestyle with her diet, and embracing cruelty-free cosmetics & beauty products. On my “Livin Veganish” Journey here are 5 steps that I incorporated to make the transition.

                5 Steps to Become a Healthy Vegan:

  1. Find 5-10 vegan recipes that have 1-5 ingredients that you can prepare (chop, dice, mix) and make in 10-20 minutes.
  2. Determine 1-3 places that you can go for quick, inexpensive organic vegan fast food.
  3. Find a meetup group that will support and inspire you along your journey.
  4. Create a weekly budget for shopping and eating out.
  5. Pick one and Meal prep and prepare your Vegan food for your week.
