*Following news that 90’s R&B group Xscape are reuniting, hitting the road and dropping a new album, a biopic may also be on the way.
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports that there’s serious interest from a number of parties about a biopic on the lades. They’ve received multiple offers and deals are already on the table.
No one really knows the story of the original lineup, which consisted of sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott, Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and Tamera Coggins, though Coggins departed the group before their debut album was released.
Fans have heard bits, myths and rumors about why they called it quits, but no one call tell their story like them. Apparently, the entire group is in agreement about a biopic, and it will most likely tell the story of how they were discovered and the ups & downs of fame… including personal stories that fans are not aware of.
