*Ludacris has scored another season as host of MTV’s relaunched “Fear Factor,”

The actor-rapper will return as host for an expanded 20-episode season 2, and the franchise’s eighth in total. Last season, there were just 12 episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The return of the reality competition series marked MTV’s highest-rated series premiere in two years among viewers 18-34 and has helped deliver its best Tuesday in a year and a half.

Executive produced by Endemol Shine North America, the show has Anthony Carbone, Kevin Wehrenberg, Rob Smith and Robin Feinberg executive producing alongside Ludacris and MTV’s Nina L. Diaz, Pamela Post and Tim Palazzola.
